Encountered a dirty toilet brush that should never be visible in a room's en-suite. not a pleasant surprise. Found hairs in the bath and the shower controls had a mind of their own—fluctuating between too cold and too hot. Temperature in the room fell short, with the radiator only operating at odd times and the small heater struggling to keep things cozy.  

It was just a smart choice for a quick break in Barton-upon-Humber with great value-to-price ratio. My partner and I enjoyed the company of other travelers at breakfast, despite the limited continental options. Make sure to check the hot water situation before your shower.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. the bathroom could use some attention. The toilet brush was dirty and unclipped by the toilet. The shower had issues with temperature regulation, and the room felt a bit cold at times, especially since there was no central heating. The bar area looked a bit tired and could benefit from an update. The noise from the road outside disturbed the peace at night, suggesting double glazing could improve the experience. the friendly service and delightful breakfast made up for some shortcomings in the room.

The room was large with a super comfy bed, and my dog loved the homemade treats! I really appreciated the cozy TV lounge and the games we enjoyed in the leisure room. The shower could be a bit tricky to regulate, but it didn’t ruin my stay at all. just a little tip for future visitors would be to double-check the water settings! 🐶
