Standard King Room boasts ample space, perfect for spreading out during a two-night stay. The cozy vibe in this historic setting adds a touch of charm that's hard to ignore.
Encountered a dirty toilet brush that should never be visible in a room's en-suite. not a pleasant surprise. Found hairs in the bath and the shower controls had a mind of their own—fluctuating between too cold and too hot. Temperature in the room fell short, with the radiator only operating at odd times and the small heater struggling to keep things cozy.

It was just a smart choice for a quick break in Barton-upon-Humber with great value-to-price ratio. My partner and I enjoyed the company of other travelers at breakfast, despite the limited continental options. Make sure to check the hot water situation before your shower.

I enjoyed my stay at the George Inn in Barton-upon-Humber. The room was spacious and had comfy bedding. I appreciated the tea and coffee facilities in the room. the fresh milk and bottled water were a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious, cooked to order, and made with locally sourced ingredients. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. the bathroom could use some attention. The toilet brush was dirty and unclipped by the toilet. The shower had issues with temperature regulation, and the room felt a bit cold at times, especially since there was no central heating. The bar area looked a bit tired and could benefit from an update. The noise from the road outside disturbed the peace at night, suggesting double glazing could improve the experience. the friendly service and delightful breakfast made up for some shortcomings in the room.
